Retouching
A model of a skeleton along with a polaroid of the artist were used as reference for this painting. Mark began his free-lance art career after going to college on full scholarship and working in the art department for a government research and development laboratory in the D.C. area. This was painted in watercolor and airbrush for poster and T-shirt designs during his first year free-lancing. The subtle, yet effective lettering was digitally added later for aesthetic appeal.
