About The Exhibit
Mark Musy is a freelance artist creating sculptures, paintings and drawings of megalosaurs, Albertosaurus, Tyrannosaurus rex, Kronosaurus, Triceratops prorsus, Acrocanthosaurus, Giganotosaurus and Stegosaurus stenops with supporting artwork revealing the complicated creative process involved. Most of his models are scaled to 1 inch equals 1 foot. See the progression of this artist's skill over the last 35 years, and controversial aspects of his work challenging the status quo dogma of some of the most famous paleontologists and artists who still depict Tyrannosaurus rex with the upper teeth overlapping the lower lip. The illustration is rendered in acrylic and watercolor.
