About The Exhibit
This panel of his Triceratops prorsus sculpture was created using a photo of the model retouched into the background. He sculpted, painted, photographed and retouched the cracked mud background for this photo. Both the model and and a version of this panel were included in an adjustable traveling dinosaur art exhibit advertised as "The Dinosaur Art of Mark Musy". The museum curator participated in writing and placement of the descriptive plaques for the picture panels. Their full-scale Triceratops skeleton was being installed, so Mark’s temporary exhibit was designed to promote interest in their pending permanent exhibit.
