Technical Illustration
Mark photographed parts of an actuator to create this illustration with some technical help from the client’s engineer.
Mark began his freelance art career after going to college on full scholarship and working in the art department for a government research and development laboratory in the D.C. area. An experienced artist handles retouching and illustration much the same way. Computers make the two skills even more interconnected.
